Homes for life

The Centre for Ageing Better conducted a study into how our homes have been, and are being built and how well they support the people who live in them. Every home built that does not suit our needs is a wasted opportunity and a future problem. Giving a little more thought and spending a little more money at the outset will make a huge difference to people’s lives, now and in the future. We helped to bring this important research to life.

Working with Yoke on this project was a delight – we pitched them a very rough concept and they helped flesh out the idea into a number of different assets, each with a purpose. As always, they were incredibly professional and easy to work with, showing their flexibility and talent as the project evolved. In the end, what we were delivered managed to meet and even exceed our expectations.

The Report

With a government consultation approaching, the central focus of the work was an accessible report which would help to tell the story of the research in an engaging manner. The Centre for Ageing Better is calling for urgent action to make positive change happen, as part of the Housing Made for Everyone (HoME) coalition of ten charities and housing organisations. The report was the foundation of this call to action.

The Animation

To communicate the report in an easy to access manner we created a short animation, sharing the highlights of the report, offering a clear and easy way in to the campaign.

The Wider Campaign

To help spread the word we also created a suite of assets for wider communication. Short edits of the main film were crafted and a toolkit of static graphics designed to help keep consistency in in the voice of the campaign.
